Karen Anderson has been teaching yoga in Vail since 1999. She offers private and semi-private instruction for individuals and groups. She teaches both vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga, and specializes in therapeutic applications.  She will be the yoga director at the Vail Athletic Club beginning in June.

Karen particularly enjoys sharing her passion for meditation and the dharma with others.   She also teaches pranayama (yoga breathing) and yoga nidra (yogic sleep).  Karen integrates her training as a massage therapist and Pilates instructor as needed in sessions.  She is available for subtle neuromuscular bodywork/healing sessions.

Karen will lead her next 200-hour alignment-based vinyasa yoga teacher training in the fall of 2016 in Vail.  This course is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
